If you know me, you’ll know my ability is only matched by my ego, however, at 40+ and well established in supporting big business and governments handle disaster and crisis management its odd to think that only now have I taken the time to create a web page!

It’s also hard to believe that now, after years of existing and observing (probably) the only planet I’ll ever live on, I’m waking up to the environment and the natural world... This started some time ago; one day I understood how a cell works, how cells form more complex structures and then one day I understood what Ho = v/d means! This interest in science has always been there and I wish I realised it when I was young! 

I’m lucky enough to have a beautiful wife who tolerates my nonsense pretty well, and we are both lucky enough to have our own greatest treasure (and my personal best achievement to date) Pixie. Pixie is our little baby girl and she is unbelievable in so, so many ways.

A lot of people, past and present, have had great influence on my life and, one day, probably through my blog, I plan to examine how and why those influences changed my direction but this site is created around my stuff; the stuff I do, the stuff I want to do and the stuff I’ve done, as well as the stuff I’ve had and the stuff I want, and finally, the people who have helped me and made me the person I am today.

So, these pages are really for me, about me, and it’s my opinion on the world - It’s not done for you, MrsG or Pixie but I guess it’s for others (though I can’t think who’d be interested) to see my rantings and what’s going on in my life. You don’t have to visit or comment but I’m sure it will be nice if you do - oh and feel free to criticise or tell me I’m wrong on anything in these pages or in my blog...I enjoy getting funny email.
